Buena Vista County Engineer Bret Wilkinson at the Board of Supervisors meeting this (Tues) morning said phase one work is complete on 70th Avenue and 600th Street in the area of the Platinum Crush Plant.
Wilkinson said permanent signs are expected to go up this Thursday, and the roads are scheduled to open that day.
Wilkinson said a conference call will be held next Wednesday, June 25th with the Iowa DOT’s engineering firm that’s designing improvement work on the Highway 7/70th Avenue intersection. Wilkinson isn’t sure about the DOT’s preliminary design plans for the project at this point.
