The Storm Lake City Council on Monday approved an agreement for King’s Pointe Resort to continue offering recreation rentals.
The rentals include bikes and kayaks, and are made through a phone app.

The contract with Koloni Inc is for 15 thousand dollars, a discount of 16.9 thousand dollars. Von Bank and council members thanked Koloni for agreeing to the lesser rate.
During a budget workshop for fiscal year 2025-2026, the council identified the need to continue offering recreation rentals. Von Bank said funds from the sales go back to the resort.
