A total of 277 thousand 600 dollars was raised for Storm Lake St. Mary’s at the annual Ball and Charity Auction on Saturday.
The money will go toward the purchase of a new school bus, and will support the school in general. The proceeds are from ticket sales, big raffle tickets, and silent and live auctions. The chairs of the event this year were Dave and Melissa Iehl of Storm Lake.
The local Catholic school thanks everyone who donated items and money, volunteered, attended, and purchased items.
