LifeServe Blood Center will host several blood drives across the area in March, offering residents multiple opportunities to support the local blood supply.
LifeServe officials say community participation remains critical, as donated blood directly supports hospitals, patients, and families throughout the region. A single donation can help save up to three lives, and the process typically takes about an hour.
Upcoming local blood drives include:
- Storm Lake: March 3, 2026, from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1614 West 5th St.
- Sioux Rapids: March 4, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sioux Central High School, 4440 U.S. 71
- Albert City: March 20, 2026, from 1 to 5:30 p.m. at Our Savior’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 401 Spruce St.
- Storm Lake: March 25, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s High School, 304 Seneca St.
