The police chief in the town of Kingsley has been arrested on multiple charges.
According to a report from the Iowa Department of Public Safety, Kingsley Police Chief James Dunn was taken into custody without incident at his Kingsley residence on Wednesday by agents with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation. The charges against Dunn include three counts of Falsely Obtaining Criminal Intelligence Data, which are class D felonies…also Non-Felonious Misconduct in Office, a serious misdemeanor…and Stalking, an aggravated misdemeanor.
The investigation was requested by the Hinton Police Department. Dunn has been booked into the Plymouth County Jail. The investigation is ongoing. No further information is being released at this time.
