Iowa State University Extension is hosting Farmland Leasing Meetings across northwest Iowa during the month of August.
Meetings include August 5th at the Pocahontas County Extension Office starting at 9am…August 8th at the Buena Vista County Extension Office starting at 9am…and August 10th at the Cherokee County Extension Office beginning at 6pm.
Each workshop will discuss current farmland value and lease rate trends, methods for determining 2023 fair ag rents, conservation practices, farmland lease communication and legalities, and more.
Meetings will last approximately 2.5 hours. There is a 20-dollar registration fee per individual, or 30-dollars per couple for those who preregister at least two days prior to the workshop date. Contact the host county extension office to sign up.
