The full route has been released for the 50th anniversary of RAGBRAI in July.
The bike ride begins in Sioux City, and riders will make their way to Storm Lake for the first overnight stop on Sunday, July 23rd. Along the way to Storm Lake, riders will pass through towns including Kingsley, Washta, and Quimby. The opening day will mirror the original route in 1973.
On Monday, July 24th, participants will department from Storm Lake and will make their way to Carroll for the next overnight stop. Pass-through towns on the way to Carroll include Sac County towns of Early and Lake View. This will be the 3rd straight year that Sac County will welcome RAGBRAI riders. Sac City was an overnight stop in 2021. Last year, riders passed through the towns of Schaller and Nemaha.
RAGBRAI will end up in Davenport on July 29th. Register at www.ragbrai.com. Registrations will be taken until May 15th.
