Friedrichsens Named Co-Chairs for 2026 St. Mary’s Ball

Planning is underway for the 2026 St. Mary’s Ball and Auction, set for Saturday, March 14, in the Siebens Forum at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake.

Event chairs Jeff and Amanda Foell have announced Adam and Kate Friedrichsen will serve as co-chairs for the annual fundraiser, which supports St. Mary’s Catholic School in Storm Lake. The Foells say they are excited and grateful to have the Friedrichsen family at their side to continue the event’s success into the future.

The Friedrichsens are active members of the community and strong advocates for faith-based education. Adam is an owner of Logic Ag Marketing, where he also serves as a commodity broker and livestock and crop agent, and Kate works as the K–5 school counselor at St. Mary’s. The couple has four children—sixth-grader Fletcher, fourth-grader Rhett, first-grader Berkley, and 2-year-old Scottie.

A cornerstone fundraiser for St. Mary’s, the annual ball and auction is known for its elegant atmosphere and strong community support. For more information or to get involved, contact the parish office at 712-732-3110.

Enrollment for the 2025–2026 school year at St. Mary’s remains open.
