Several Buena Vista County Extension staff and specialists were recently honored with state awards at the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach annual conference.
Office/Program Coordinator Stacie Hewett, and Health and Human Sciences Educator Carol Ehlers received the “Reaching All Iowans” award for their work on the My Wellbeing Program with disabled adults.
4-H Youth Program Specialist Nichol Kleespies was recognized for “Excellence in Research-Based Programming” and celebrated for ten years of service.
Agricultural Engineer Kris Kohl was honored for 35 years of service.
