The meeting will feature a presentation of four future uses of the marina, three of which involve BV County hiring a 3rd party vendor to operate some or all aspects of the marina. Again, the public meeting on January 18th will begin at 6pm at Lake Avenue Lounge in Storm Lake.
The BV Supervisors approved a resolution back in the summer to pave the way for the marina to possibly be transferred to county ownership. The BV Conservation Board expressed interest in taking over day-to-day operations of the facility. The subcommittee formed in September.
