The Buena Vista County Board of Supervisors this (Tues) morning approved a quote to apply asphalt along every gravel or side county road off Highway 110.

Asphalt will be applied 50 feet out on every BV County gravel road off of Highway 110. Wilkinson did not include the gravel road on 660th Street since that is maintained by Sac County. It’ll be 50 feet out on the West Marina and C-63 side roads, and 400 feet onto the C-65 legs and the curves at the highway.
Wilkinson said the cost of the asphalt application is just under 200 thousand dollars, which will come from the engineer’s local construction funds.
A paving project on Highway 110 will be happening this June or July.
