Members nominate possible recipients, then three are chosen at random to make a presentation to the group, which then casts ballots with the highest vote getter receiving all contributions. Each member commits to participating in 100 People Who Care Sac County for a minimum of one year, making $100 donations to the charity or non-profit chosen by the group at the four events. Members can be individuals or teams; there is one vote per $100.
The next meeting of 100 People Who Care Sac County will be in October, date to be determined, at the Early United Methodist Church. All are welcome to join and encouraged to attend a meeting to learn more about this charitable organization.
