Collecting your own seeds is a great way to add native plants to your landscape. Seeds can come from plants you already have, a neighbor’s plants (with permission!), or native plants growing in your area.
During this hands-on workshop, participants will learn:
• How to identify native plants and seed heads
• How to determine when seeds are ready to harvest
• Proper techniques for harvesting seeds
• How to correctly store collected seeds
• Tips for starting your own native plants from seed
