One other firm was considered for the role. S&L Hospitality, which is based near Madison, Wisconsin, will take over management at King’s Pointe on March 26th. City Manager Keri Navratil said the agreement will be mostly the same as it’s been with the current management firm, except the management fee is going from three percent to three-point-five percent.
A few weeks ago, Weigand-Omega informed the Storm Lake City Council that they will no longer manage King’s Pointe, effective at the end of March.
