Goodwill of the Great Plains Holding 100-Year Customer Appreciation Celebration in Storm Lake

Goodwill of the Great Plains is hosting a customer appreciation celebration in Storm Lake tomorrow (Tues) in honor of their 100th anniversary.

The event will be held at the Storm Lake Goodwill retail store at 229 West Milwaukee Avenue starting at noon tomorrow (Tues). The event will include a Storm Lake United Ribbon Cutting. Mayor Mike Porsch will also present a proclamation to recognize the historic anniversary.

From 11am to 1pm tomorrow (Tues), customers at the Storm Lake Goodwill store will have the opportunity to enter a drawing to win a 25-dollar gift card to the store, and the first 100 customers will get a coupon redeemable for 25-percent off their total purchase. A complimentary lunch will also be provided.

Goodwill of the Great Plains joined the international Goodwill movement in 1923. The Storm Lake Goodwill store opened in 1998.
