The annual balloon bash and cake dig fundraiser at Paxton’s Jewelry in Storm Lake is coming up.
Every 15-dollar donation gets a chance to bash a balloon and win a gemstone. A prize is featured in each balloon. Winners of pearl gemstones will be entered into the cake dig contest for a chance to win the grand prize of a rose, white, and yellow gold diamond necklace valued at 749 dollars.
Balloons will be available starting this coming Monday, October 2nd through Saturday, October 7th, or until they are sold out. The cake dig contest happens at noon on October 7th at Paxton’s.
Paxton’s Jewelry and BVRMC’s Pink Program are collaborating to make the event happen. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward BVRMC Pink to help make mammograms accessible for women.
