The Storm Lake teams participated in the Le Mars invitational at Brunsville. The Tornado boys were 7th out of 16 teams and were led by Joel Ramirez-Parra who finished 10th in 18:23. Jacob Mills was 24th in 18:23, Alexander Ortega 25th in 18:57, Heath Kampbell 59th in 20:44, and Brett Peterson placed 61st in 20:51.
The Storm Lake girls team placed 9th out of 15 and were paced by Silvia Kampbell’s 15th place finish in 21:44, Maggie Dahlhauser was 39th in 24;14, Lily Backman finished 61st in 26:02, Jennifer Gutierrez was 71st in 27:03, and Gabby Guanajuato placed 74th in 27:43
