Raptors Edge Eagles–Advacne To District Final

Kinnick Jensen’s free throws with less than twenty seconds left in the game were the difference in Ridge View’s 58-56 win over visiting Eagle Grove Thursday night in Holstein.

Eagle Grove had a chance to tie or win the game in the last ten seconds but Adrian Whipple missed a driving layup and the Raptors grabbed the rebound and celebrated the win.

Eagle Grove led by as many as ten points in the first half and the game was tied at 33-33 at the break. Ridge View carried a 48-44 lead going into the 4th quarter. Jensen led three Raptors in double figures with 16 points, Carter Todd added 12, and Adam Stephan chipped in with ten.

Ridge View, now 21-1, will play Manson Northwest Webster Tuesday, February 25th in Sac City in a district final. The Cougars (18-5) advanced with a 67-60 win over South Hardin.
