The Storm Lake volleyball team defeated OA-BCIG in four sets Thursday night.
The Tornadoes led by as many as ten in the opening set, and held a 20-11 lead before the Falcons roared back to close on a 15-4 run to take the first set 26-24.
After seven early lead changes and seven ties in the 2nd set, Storm Lake took the lead for good at 10-9, on their way to a 25-18 win.
OA-BCIG went up by three early in the 3rd set. Storm Lake never trailed after going up 11-10; they took the set 25-16.
Storm Lake dominated the 4th set. The Tornadoes led it throughout, winning the match with a 25-11 victory.
Storm Lake is now 2-5. The Tornadoes host Algona next Tuesday, September 17th.
OA-BCIG goes to 5-7. The Falcons host a Western Valley Conference triangular next Tuesday against OA-BCIG and River Valley.
