#4 OA-BCIG beat Ridge View for the 8th straight time 26-0 on homecoming night in Ida Grove.
The Falcons went 70 yards in 11 plays in 5:15 on the opening drive of the game, and quarterback Brysen Kolar’s two-yard touchdown run and ensuing PAT made the score 7-0. Kolar capped OA-BCIG’s second drive with another two-yard TD run to make it 13-0. Late in the 1st half, Kolar threw a seven-yard touchdown to Jaxx DeJean to put the Falcons up 20-0 at the half.
After a scoreless 3rd quarter, an interception by Miles Chesney set up a 45-yard touchdown drive that culminated with lineman Kaleb Taylor recovering a fumble in the end zone for the final margin.
Kolar passed for 151 yards and ran for 53. Kade Spotts rushed 13 times for 83 yards. DeJean hauled in eight passes for 103 yards. Blake Myrtue carried the ball five times for the Raptors for 43 yards, and Carson Harriman intercepted a pass.
OA-BCIG (4-1, 2-0 in 1A District 1, will visit West Sioux next week.
Ridge View (3-2, 1-1) plays at Lawton Bronson next week, and it’ll be broadcast on Mix 101.7FM.
