OA-BCIG won their home opener Friday night 48-14 over East Sac County.
The Falcons led 20-0 at halftime. OA-BCIG capped a seven-play, 75-yard touchdown drive with a 20-yard touchdown pass from Brysen Kolar to JJ Park. On the ensuing possession, Jaxx DeJean had a 33-yard interception return for a touchdown. Following a punt, the Falcons went 73 yards in eight plays, and Andrew Parks scored on a two-yard touchdown run with 50 seconds left in the half.
OA-BCIG scored on the opening series of the 2nd half on an 11-yard pass from Kolar to DeJean. Late in the 3rd quarter, Kade Spotts ran a four-yard touchdown, and on the following Falcons possession another two-yard touchdown run by Andrew Parks stretched the lead to 41-0. The Raiders got on the board on the next series with an 81-yard touchdown pass from Sam Julin to Asher Lawler, and later scored again on Julin’s 33-yard pass to Jack Gullett. In between, Kolar threw a 51-yard touchdown to JJ Parks.
The Falcons racked up 488 yards of offense. Kolar was 17-31 for 324 yards and three touchdowns. DeJean and JJ Parks each had 100 yards receiving. Julin threw for 165.
OA-BCIG hosts West Lyon next Friday, while East Sac hosts Missouri Valley for homecoming.
