OA-BCIG at Ridge View Basketball Recap ; Raptor Boys Win Battle of Unbeatens

The Ridge View boys moved to 7-0 with their 78-58 win over OA-BCIG in Holstein.

Ridge View took their first lead at 9-8 and kept the advantage the rest of the way. Carter Todd scored a basket at the end of the 1st quarter to put the lead at 19-16. Todd banked in a three at the halftime buzzer to make the score 44-31. The Falcons got within six during the 3rd quarter, but Ridge View got the lead back up to 60-49 going to the 4th, and it stayed in double figures through the final quarter.

Todd led four Raptors in double figures with 23. Zach Kolpin and Kellen Jensen each had 16, and Adam Stephan had 12. Brysen Kolar led OA-BCIG with 14, and Kade Spotts and Raif Jensen each had 11. The Falcons are now 5-1.

The OA-BCIG girls beat Ridge View for the first time in seven years by the score of 48-32.

The Falcons never trailed as they flew to an 8-0 lead, and 16-3 after the 1st quarter. A three by Brady Youngren just before the halftime buzzer put the score at 26-13. OA-BCIG upped the lead to 14 after the 3rd quarter. The Raptors only got as close as 11 in the 4th.

Jenessa Kolar led OA-BCIG with 17, while Youngren and Josilynn Pritchard each had 10. Jayna Aschinger led the Raptors with 9. OA-BCIG improves to 3-5 entering the holiday break, while Ridge View dips to 1-6.
