Storm Lake girls golf team placed 6th at the 18-hole Spencer tournament Monday shooting a 444. Maddy Raveling had the low round with a 100.
The Alta-Aurelia girls hosted Newell-Fonda and the Warriors shot a 203 to win the dual by six shots. Chloe Elston, Shea Peterson, and Maggie Bloom all shot 50’s and Elston won the medal based on a scorecard playoff.
Sioux Central shot a 222 at the Hillcrest golf course and beat GTRA who had only four players. Kendra Casey fired a 44 and was the medalist. Halle Laursen was the runner up with a 54.
The Pocahontas Area girls hosted South Central Calhoun and the Indians shot a 203 and won the dual by 20 shots. Nicole Panbecker was the medalist with a 45 and Carly Janssen was runner-up with a 50.
Southeast Valley shot a 230 on their home course and beat East Sac County by one stroke. The Raiders Sidney Bieret was the medalist with a 48
The Western Valley Conference girls golf teams played Monday at Quimby and OA-BCIG placed 3rd with a 194 and Rylee Krayenhagen was the medalist with a 40. Ridge View placed 8th with a 219 and their low score was a 53 shot by Zoey Aschinger.
In Boys golf, the Alta-Aurelia Warriors shot a 167 and beat Newell-Fonda by one stroke at Aurelia. Mason Dicks was the medalist with a 37, and Jack Bloom was the runner up with a 38.
Emmetsburg boys played Saint Mary’s at the BVU golf course at Lake Creek and the E-Hawks shot 167 while the Panthers shot a 271. Saint Mary’s low score was Lane Carlson’s 53.
Southeast Valley shot a 178 on their home track and beat East Sac County by 21 shots. The Raiders Carter Hogrefe was the runner up medalist with a 42.
At Hillcrest golf course the GTRA boys shot a 166 and Sioux Central a 218. The Rebels low score was a pair of 53’s shot by Jacob Gunderson and Bryson Smith.
The Western Valley Conference boys golf teams played Monday at Moville. OA-BCIG placed 1st with a 162 led by medalist Axton Miller who shot a 36, Ben Hofmeister was the runner up with a 39. Ridge View placed 2nd with a 170 and their low score was Gavin Vohs’ 39.
