Thursday’s doubleheader in Ida Grove began with the East Sac County girls picking up a 41-20 win over OA-BCIG in Ida Grove.
OA-BCIG scored first, but East Sac followed with a 15-2 run, and they led 21-7 at halftime.
Sarah Bontrager led three Raiders in double figures with 14 points, including three threes. Josilynn Pritchard had 6 for the Falcons.
East Sac is now 3-1, while OA-BCIG goes to 1-4.
The OA-BCIG boys remained undefeated with their 67-42 win over East Sac.
There were four lead changes in the first few minutes, but the Falcons took control with a 9-0 run to take the lead for good. OA-BCIG led 15-7 after the opening quarter, and 36-16 at halftime. The lead got as high as 31 in the 2nd half.
Four players handled the scoring for OA-BCIG, all in double figures, led by Evan Hoffman with 20, and Kade Spotts had 19. Sam Julin had 15 for the Raiders, and Zach Jacobsen had 13. They each hit four threes, as East Sac had ten three on the night.
OA-BCIG is 4-0, dropping East Sac to 1-2.
