Boys district golf tournaments were played across the state on Monday and a couple local players played well enough to advance to the State Tournament.
Ridge View’s Robert Forristal shot a 76 at Landsmeer in Orange City and OA-BCIG’s Axton Miller carded a 72 at Panorama and both will tee it up at the Coldwater Golf Links in Ames.
The Ridge View team lost out on a 2nd place tiebreaker with Cherokee to go as a team. The Falcons finished in 6th place at their district.
The Alta-Aurelia boys team placed 5th in their 1-A district tournament at C-A-M.
