Brock Edwards threw a complete game two hitter and the Storm Lake baseball team picked up a 6-1 at Emmetsburg Thursday night.
Edwards threw 106 pitches in the game he struck out ten, walked one, and hit three batters. Edwards also had two of Storm Lake’s seven hits at the plate. Trey Boettcher delivered a two out-two run triple that gave the Tornadoes a 4-0 lead in the 4th inning. Storm Lake would add two more runs in the 7th inning when Bobby Boeckman cranked an RBI double to left field plating pinch runner Ian Hoffman. Boeckman would then score on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Rylan Richardson.
