Alta-Aurelia defeats Saint Mary’s in three innings

The Alta-Aurelia Warrior softball team defeated the Storm Lake Saint Mary’s Panthers 15-0 in three innings

The Warriors and Panthers would hold each other off the scoreboard in the first inning. The second inning saw the Warriors get on the board when Clare Gunkelman got hit by a pitch and Caitlyn Mattson got on via a Panther error. After a passed ball the Warriors would tally 2 to lead 2-0 halfway through the second inning. The Panthers would go down in order in the bottom of the second. The top of the third would see the Warriors tally 13 runs with 16 batters coming to the plate. During the inning, the Warriors would collect 8 hits, get hit by three pitches, and see 3 Panther errors. The Panthers would go down in order as the Warriors would win the game 15-0.

The Panthers fall to 0-2, and the Warriors improve to 2-6.
