The execution of a search warrant Tuesday on an apartment in downtown Spencer resulted in the authorities finding 33 pounds of methamphetamine, and landed a man in jail.
Oscar Navarro-Zepeda of Spencer was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver. He was being held on a 750-thousand dollar bond.
The meth that was seized is worth more than a half million dollars. Authorities also recovered several thousand dollars in cash. If convicted, Navarro-Zepeda faces up to 50 years in prison, and a one-million dollar fine.
