A Storm Lake man was arrested on multiple charges after being stopped for a minor traffic violation over the weekend.
According to the Storm Lake Police Department, the traffic stop occurred around 9pm Sunday in the 12-hundred block of Lake Avenue. The driver was identified as 34-year-old Marston Rodriguez. Police allege that Rodriguez had a suspended driving license status in Iowa, and also showed signs of alcohol impairment. Following an investigation on the scene, Rodriguez was transported to the Buena Vista County Jail for further testing.
Rodriguez was arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicated, a class D felony…and Driving While License Suspended, a simple misdemeanor. He was booked into the jail on a 53-hundred dollar bond.
