The City of Storm Lake officially presented the inaugural Service Excellence Award by the Iowa Travel Industry Partners to King’s Pointe Waterpark Resort at Monday’s city council meeting.

I-TIP also praised King’s Pointe for the Kids Fest event, which started last year. This year’s Kids Fest will be this coming Sunday, June 25th from noon to 3pm at Awaysis Park. There will also be reduced waterpark pass rates that day.

Iowa Travel Industry Partners is the leading statewide association of the tourism and hospitality industry.
In recent months, King’s Pointe also received an Iowa Tourism Award for outstanding lodging, and a large business excellence award from Iowa Lakes Corridor Development.
