Reward Being Offered for Information Regarding O’Brien County Farmhouse Fire

An investigation is underway into the cause of a fire that destroyed a home near Primghar last month.

The fire reportedly started around 2:30am on February 10th at a vacant farmhouse at 3730 Roosevelt Avenue northwest of Primghar. The fire is considered suspicious since there was no electricity going to the farmhouse. The house was fully engulfed in flames when authorities arrived on the scene.

The O’Brien County Crime Dusters program is offering a 500-dollar reward for information that leads to an arrest. The family that owned the house is offering an additional one-thousand dollar reward. If you have any information, contact the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office.
