With tournament time right around the corner the Sioux Central basketball teams turned in another great night of basketball sweeping Storm Lake in a non-conference double-header played Thursday night at Sioux Rapids.
The Rebels girls team improved to 14-5 with a decisive 73-43 win over the Tornadoes. Bradi Krager led three players in double figures with 19 points, Morgan Christian added 14, and Avery Wilson had 13. Storm Lake, now 8-10 overall, was led by Audrey Kosky’s eight points.
The Sioux Central boys are now 18-0 after a 64-47 win over Storm Lake. The Rebels were led by Jacob Hargens’ 31 points, Ethan Mills added 15. Storm Lake, now 4-11 on the year, was led by Jake Eddie and Cam Boyd as they each scored 15 points.
The Rebels host GTRA Friday night and Storm Lake will host Spencer.
