Odebolt Man Becomes Second Arrested in Connection with Construction Site Burglary

An Odebolt man has been arrested for allegedly being involved in a construction site burglary in Early last month, joining another man who was previously arrested in connection with the same incident.

According to the Sac County Sheriff’s Office, the burglary happened on December 2nd at 105 Karr Avenue in Early. Deputies today (Thur) arrested 27-year-old Cole Hammond of Odebolt. He’s been charged with 3rd Degree Burglary and 2nd Degree Theft. The Sac County Attorney’s Office filed a probation revocation on Hammond, who was booked into the Sac County Jail.

45-year-old Jeremy Fank was previously arrested for allegedly being involved in the same burglary. Sac County Sheriff’s officials and Sac City Police officers served a search warrant at Fank’s residence at 601 Morningside Drive in Sac City in early December. Items that were stolen from the construction site were discovered, along with items that were stolen during the same time period from a machine shednorth of Early. Fank has been in custody since early December.
