A Storm Lake man was arrested over the weekend on indecent exposure charges.
According to Storm Lake Police, officers were called to Buena Vista University around noon this past Friday. Police were advised that two students allegedly observed a man in a vehicle masturbating in public view earlier that day, and also last Monday. Witnesses provided officers with a description of the man, as well as the vehicle’s license plate.
Following further investigation on Saturday, police made contact with the owner of the suspected vehicle at 221 Seneca Street. He was identified as 47-year-old Romel Ona Gomez of Storm Lake. Gomez was charged with two counts of Indecent Exposure, a serious misdemeanor. He was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a four-thousand dollar bond.
