The Class 3A State Cross Country meet was held at Fort Dodge Saturday, October 29th and Storm Lake was well represented. There were 131 athletes that started the race and Tornado junior Luiz Martinez, who was making his third straight appearance atthestatemeet,picked up a medalplacing12th in a time of 16:21.
FreshmanJoel Ramirez-Parra finished 19th in a time of 16:44. The top 15 earn a medal and Ramirez Parra was eleven seconds out of the top 15.
The winner of the 3A boys race was Lewis Central’s Ethan Eichhorn in a time of 15:32
