A general election information event is being held in Storm Lake during the upcoming weekend.
The event will be held on Sunday, August 21st at Our Place in Storm Lake. An English presentation will be given from 1 to 2pm, with the Spanish presentation to follow from 2:30 to 4pm.
Topics that will be covered include current voting laws in Iowa, voter eligibility and documentation that will be needed, voter registration and updating information, absentee ballots, and polling maps.
The event is being hosted by the SALUD Multicultural Health Coalition. The general election will be held on November 8th.
