Storm Lake LifeServe Blood Drives June Results

96 units of blood were collected at two LifeServe Blood Center Blood Drives in Storm Lake this month.

The blood drives were hosted to support the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center and over 120 other local hospitals served by LifeServe. The amount of blood collected has the ability to save up to 288 local lives.

Several local donors reached milestones with their most recent donation. Henry Ivers and Robert North reached 14 gallons of blood donated…Nancy Sliefert 11 gallons…Jeffrey Smith seven gallons…John Dahl four gallons…William Swanson and Dennis Pyle three gallons…and Ashley Ronk, Miguel Martinez, Alyssa Hinojosa, Dona Glienke, Sarah Freking, Duane Miller, and Jordan Jorgensen all reached one gallon of blood donated.

Two LifeServe Blood Drives are scheduled during July in Storm Lake, including Tuesday, July 5th from 12:30 to 5:30pm at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church…and Friday, July 22nd at the United Methodist Church.
