Fundraising for this year’s Storm Lake Star Spangled Spectacular is more than halfway toward the goal.
As of today (Wed), 21-thousand dollars has been raised towards the goal of 38-thousand. Fundraising began two weeks ago.
Fundraising co-chair Josh Newhouse says many donors have increased their donations throughout last year, and several first-time donors sent in their contributions this week. Newhouse says they have also received contributions from donors that they haven’t heard from in many years. The other fundraising co-chair, Matt Brostad, says online donations continue to increase.
