The Storm Lake Public Library is offering hour-long knitting, crochet, and embroidery lessons this month with “Summer Club Textiles Week.”
Both youth and adult beginners are welcome to attend. The programs are free to participants, and are sponsored by Friends of the Storm Lake Public Library. Snacks will be provided.
Lessons for beginners and repeat Club Members on June 20th and 21st…embroidery will be the focus on June 22nd…and on June 23rd and 24th, master crocheter Kathy O’Toole will lead all beginners on techniques suited to their level.
Textile teachers are members of the “Friends’ Knit One, Crochet Too” group. Club members are encouraged to attend the group to get help on mistakes or advice in finishing a project.
