Tyson Foods Launches Free Education Program for all Team Members

Tyson Foods recently announced a milestone investment to provide free education for all of their team members.
Beginning this summer, Tyson is expanding its existing “Upward Academy program to include access to more than 175 programs from over 35 of the nations top universities and learning providers. The four-year, 60-million dollar investment, will cover one-hundred percent of all tuition, books, and fees for team members. Team members will have the ability to attain masters, undergraduate and associate degrees, career certificates, and literacy and technology fundamentals, all for free.
The Storm Lake turkey plant is among the Tyson locations that are currently participating in the “Upward Academy.” The program expansion is thanks to a partnership between Tyson Foods and social impact company Guild.
