Ankeny Man Arrested for Involvement in Multiple Burglaries to Property in Early

An Ankeny man has been arrested after being connected to several burglaries at a property in Early.
According to the Sac County Sheriff's Office, 35-year-old Alexander Wadsley was arrested on Wednesday after being stopped near the Storm Lake Airport by Buena Vista County Sheriff's Deputies. Wadsley had been spotted by a concerned citizen at 2254 220th Street in Early, which had recently been burglarized. The citizen notified law enforcement, and followed Wadsley's vehicle.
A snowmobile trailer was located in BV County earlier this week that had been reported stolen in Sac County on February 10th. Law enforcement was told that the trailer had been purchased from Wadsley. Trail camera footage from the property at 2254 220th Street in Early shows the same vehicle Wadsley was stopped in entered the property several times and stealing items.
Wadsley was charged with 3rd Degree Burglary, and 2nd and 3rd Degree Theft. He was booked into the Sac County Jail on a 12-thousand dollar bond.
