Rolfe Man Charged for Operating Under The Influence

A Rolfe man was charged with driving under the influence just south of Pocahontas.
According to the Pocahontas County Sheriff's Office, authorities located a motor vehicle in the ditch at the intersection of 220th Avenue and 570th Street shortly before 5:50am Sunday. An investigation determined that a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 21-year-old Jamison Frerk of Rolfe was traveling east on 570th Street. Jamison failed to maintain control of the vehicle, which left the roadway and entered the north ditch.
Frerk was arrested and charged with 1st Offense Operating While Intoxicated, a serious misdemeanor...and Failure to Maintain Control, a simple misdemeanor. Frerk was booked into the Pocahontas County Jail.
