National Weather Service Provides Winter Storm Update

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the Storm Lake listening area.
Samantha Trellinger with the National Weather Service office in Sioux Falls says the Warning will now expire a bit sooner at 3am tomorrow (Sat)...(audio clip below :09 )

Wind gusts of 30 to 35 miles per hour are possible this afternoon and evening, which could lead to blowing snow across the roadways and reduced visibility. Even though blizzard conditions aren't expected, Trellinger urges drivers to take it slow and be cautious.
