Ridge View Girls Pull Away from Storm Lake in 2nd Half

Ridge View's defense only gave up four points in the 2nd half, as the Raptors defeated Storm Lake 55-22 in girls basketball Monday night at Tornado Fieldhouse. 

Storm Lake built a five-point lead during the 1st quarter, but Ridge View took the lead for good with an 8-0 run to close the quarter and go up 15-12.  The Raptors put together nine straight points to finish the 2nd quarter en route to taking a 28-18 lead into halftime.  

Shea Dutler led the way with 14 points for the Raptors.  Next in line was Madison Stowater with 12 points, and Katie Pickhinke had 11.  

Adeeya Yanga had 12 points for the Tornadoes, as they are now 3-10 on the season.  The Storm Lake girls and boys play at Alta Aurelia on Thursday, and they'll be broadcast on 92.9FM KKIA.  

The Ridge View teams host MVAO-COU tomorrow night.  The Raptors games Friday at home against OA-BCIG will be carried on KKIA.
