Sioux Central at Ridge View Basketball Recap

Tuesday's double-header split in Schaller began with the Ridge View girls defeating Sioux Central 52-40.  

Sioux Central led for most of the 1st quarter, as they were ahead by as many as seven.  Ridge View closed the quarter on a 9-0 run to go up 15-13.  Sioux Central scored a three to opening the 2nd quarter, in what turned out to be their last lead of the game.  The Raptors followed with an 8-0 run, and took a 27-19 lead at the half.  

Ridge View put together a 17-0 stretch from the 2nd into the 3rd quarter.  They led by as many as 18.  The Rebels closed the gap in the final minutes, but got no closer than ten.  

Madison Stowater led the Raptors with 18 points, and Shae Dutler had 11.  Bradi Krager had 16 for the Rebels, and Morgan Christian had 13.  Ridge View's record is now 8-2, while Sioux Central drops to 4-6.

The Sioux Central boys cruised to a 65-27 win over Ridge View.  

The Rebels didn't take long to get rolling, up 24-3 after the 1st quarter, and 40-10 at the half.  Sioux Central's lead reached 35 with 4:40 left in the 3rd.  

Jake Hargens led the way with 26 points,  Carter Boettcher added 17.  The Rebels had eight threes.  Kyler Wunschel topped the Raptors with 8 points.  Sioux Central's 6th win in a row puts them at 6-3, dropping Ridge View to 6-5.
