Cleanup efforts started in Aurelia yesterday (Thur) with a focus on tree and branch cleanup. Cleanup is continuing today (Fri) at 8am. Residents have been asked to place tree branches along a curb, and cut them into manageable six-foot sections if possible. Volunteers are welcome to find any residents in need of help. Volunteers are asked to sign in at the Aurelia City Hall so the City can keep track of volunteer hours and equipment used.

Dumpsters for construction debris are in place at the Aurelia Community Center parking lot, bus barns, and east parking area at the school.

The National Weather Service previously confirmed tornadoes from Wednesday in Lawton, Bronson, and Salix.
