The Storm Lake area is under a Winter Storm Warning through late tonight (Fri).

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect through midnight tonight for counties including Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, O'Brien. A Winter Storm Warning for Pocahontas and Palo Alto Counties runs through 6am Saturday.

Ida County is under a Winter Weather Advisory until midnight. Sac and Calhoun Counties are under a Winter Weather Advisory until 6am Saturday.
