A book is available about a Storm Lake resident's road to recovery after surviving sexual abuse as a child, among other things.
The book called “Don't Tell...Finding Home After Family Betrayal” centers on the upbringing of Joanie Brusseau in Chicago. She was raped by her father, and gave birth to his child at the age of 15, which led to drug-addiction and homelessness...(audio clip below :38 )
