East Sac County wraps up season 13-4 after 6-1 loss to #13 St Albert

The East Sac County girls soccer team fell at home to #13 Saint Albert 6-1

The first half saw St Albert get to work putting presure early and often on the Raiders. The Saintes would finally push the first goal across at 28:55 when Makenna Shepard scored via the penalty kick. The Saintes would strike again with 20:32 when Ella Klusman scored to make it 2-0. The Radiers would have an answer with 1:09 to go in the first half when Brianna Boeckman to cut the lead to 2-1.

The second half saw the teams do battle defensively to keep the score 2-1. The Saintes would add to their lead with 22:16 when Lily Krohn struck to extend the lead to 3-1. The Saintes would score twice in 20 seconds to extend the lead 5-1. The first of the pair was 13:09 when Makenna Shepard scored, that was followed by a 12:49 Ella Klusman goal. The Saintes would wrap up their scoring with 10:24 to go when Lily Krohn scored her second of the second half. The Saintes would go on the defeat the Raiders 6-1.

The Raiders wrap up the season with a record of 13-4, the team also says goodbye to 11 seniors.

The #13 Saintes advance to 9-9 on the season and advance to Friday night's match at #2 Treynor
