Hy-Vee, SALUD to Host Vaccination Clinic This Coming Sunday

Hy-Vee is partnering with the SALUD Multicultural Health Coalition to host a COVID vaccination clinic this Sunday, May 16th at the Prairie Lakes AEA Building in Storm Lake.
The clinic will be from 1 to 3pm for individuals age 16 and older. They also anticipate being able to vaccinate individuals 12 to 15 pending the CDC's formal review and approval, which is scheduled for this Wednesday, May 12th.
No appointment is required. Minors must have guardian consent to receive the vaccine. Individuals will receive the Pfizer vaccine, which requires two doses. Individuals can get their second dose of the vaccine at the Hy-Vee Pharmacy 21 days after their first dose.
It is recommended that vaccine recipients bring an insurance card or a Medicare Part B red, white, and blue card, along with a photo ID. Masks are required. Individuals can still be vaccinated if they do not have insurance.
